OVW TV Results !! May 31

The show opened up with another Martin "Twinkle Toes" Evans trying to pull a prank on the Mobilehomers. I think this gag is getting extremely stale. Every week they pull pranks on each other, but the only thing really lacking is humor.

TANK TOLAND def. JAMES THOMAS- Tank is doing Simon Dean type moves now with pushups and jumping jacks onto guys chests. Toland threw around a massive 300lb guy like he was a cruiserweigh. Tank does a new Farooq style spinebuster for a finisher called the Power Trip.

ANTHONY BRAVADO def. JOSH LOWRY- Bravado destroyed Josh Lowry and cut a promo on Jerry Lawler who he will be facing at the next six flags. Bravado is probably bigger then almost everyone in WWE and looks to be one of OVWs future main eventers. Bravado uses the Jackhammer as a finisher.

CHRIS CAGE def. JOHNNY PUNCH- Johnny Punch sports a new look, which works for him. Cage has been a consistent performer and they had a good match until Cage put him away with his DDT into an Elbow Drop.

JOEY MATTHEWS def. RUDY SWITCHBLADE - Joey is still in amazing shape. There's a feud between JD and Switchblade growing in the Newcomers tournament as JD came out to help Joey get the win. Joey has lost the MNM look and comes out to no music which is a nice change. His gimmick now is a no nonsense heel that just brutally destroys anyone is his way.

Von Lilas and Apoc are a new team in OVW but there has been vignettes with someone giving them a paycheck week after week. I believe they are now hired guns, but the question is for who.

A new montage is shown for three preppy looking kids speaking about a fraternity thats coming to OVW.

Overall: OVW still has the best wrestling show out there, and its obvious that most of these guys will make it to the WWE or TNA. The only sad thing is that the OVW Heavyweight Title is almost nonexistent as the champion is barely around. Nobody has even feuded for more than two weeks with Nick Dinsmore. The hottest thing going right now is the Tag Team Division because of the Ironmen, Locos, and Insurgency.

THE MEN OF IRON def. THE INSURGENCY (C) This match went about twenty minutes and was well worth watching. The Ironmen now wear red, white, and blue gear. Buck wears White shades, Conway wears black but it works. The Insurgency still have an amazing gimmick and I still cant help but hate them. Buck took the lead in the beginning but was cut on the outside after getting smashed with the Iraq flag. Buck eventually makes the tag to Conway who cleans house until the Insurgency used their numbers to distract the ref. Turkan went to hit Conway with the flag but ends up hitting Ali. Conway covers for the pin and the Ironmen are the new OVW Tag Team Champions! The two celebrate in the ring as they plug for next six flags.

"TUBBY" TOMMY MCNALER (C) def. JD MICHAELS - JD is one of the best in OVW and has the coolest tights. He looks like HBK but talks like Bret on the mic. Before the match he cut a promo on the Mobile Homers and how Tubby can't win without them there. He called him a sham. JD took control of all of the match until Rudy came out to distract JD, and Tubby hit the Acid Drop.

I don't think the Mobile Homers/Twinkletoes thing is getting old. I do love the Mobile Homers however. I wish they'd wrestle a bit more except just Tommy wrestling.

Any results for Six Flags? I wonder why the OVW website never posts them.

I just saw the Twinkletoes toilet humor. OVW has reached a new low. The tv show is getting REALLY bad.
